This is artist Jason Prigge. I thought a quick introduction was in order since I'm going to focus the next few blog posts on him. Yes, because he's cute, but also because he is wicked talented. He is one of the Monets of our time. Posted here are some photos of him painting on location. Painting is his passion. Basically, he lives to paint. And aren't we lucky? Almost daily he creates a new work of art. Usually painted in plein air. He has just undertaken a 30 paintings in 30 day challenge featuring the many beautiful facets of the Manitowoc River and the exhibit will be in Door County in November. Following that, he is committed to a second 30 day challenge in which he will paint different views of the City of Manitowoc from the rooftop of Gallery 3. Totally unique. And at all times of day. Seriously, when most of the sane world is catching a few winks in the wee hours, Jason might be on the rooftop painting a nocturne. Gallery 3 will display the exhibit upon completion.
