November, it turns out, is national write a novel month. The goal is to write each day to end up with a 50,000 word novel at the end of the month. I'm not sure I have 50,000 words in me, so I'm not planning to attempt it. But I know a girl who is. She is creative and clever and is gifted in the art of elocution. The English language is literally at her command. Have you ever tried playing the game where one person searches for an obscure word in the dictionary and the others try to guess it? She has yet to be stumped! I am rooting for her to accomplish her goal this NaNiWriMo month of November and very much looking forward to reading the end product.
